History

The history of our Sect (well, since starting the website anyway), most recent at the top.
Or you can read from the bottom up (chronological order - far better but you might want to make a cup of tea first).

The Sect gathered at one of Pack Asylum's properties; a lunatic asylum where it had been discovered that some kind of supernatural event was to take place to mark an important date in the building's history. The Sect decided to be there to witness this and if necessary, intervene.

The evening kicked off with a hearing and ritual during which Captain Shrove of the Strays confessed to attacking Sgt. Jazz of the Black Hand at the previous meeting. Bishop Bug* publically declared him outcast from the Sect and not covered by its protection again until sunrise the following night. Captain Shrove and most of the Strays departed.

A short while later many perceptive Cainites began to feel a sensation of rising, tense energy barely held in check. Something clearly was about to happen.

The room filled with people frozen in time; a mixture of inmates, doctors and cultists along with were two fish-eyed mutants with tentacles growing from their faces, and a head ritualist who was wielding black magic. He was attacking an individual who the Sabbat quickly recognised as the Cainite in the fedora who had assisted them in the final battle against Mithras. As they began to move, the Cainite in the fedora was enveloped in the black magic and his body was shrivelled. Bug* caught him as he fell and he asked for help to stop the ritual, insisting that they had to stop the cultists and their sacrifices from dying.

Bug* gave orders that the Sabbat should subdue all present and stop the ritual. A battle commenced in which the Sabbat soon subdued the mortals, but not before Martin Carlihle was cut in half by the head ritualist, who was exhibiting powers of such an unearthly nature that Cainites were shaken on their chosen Paths, and Hunter fell into Wassail.

The head ritualist and mutants were finally killed and the ritual was broken. The Cainite was taken to a safe place to recover, and on his advice the subdued cultists and sacrifices were split up and transported away from the site of the ritual. Hunter was secured by his pack and taken away.

Bob reported that he had been investigating the Area Without Colour and had spotted a colossal worm of some sort. He assembled a group of Cainites and went to investigate. On surveying the area, they discovered the worm apparently dead, with wounds suggesting that something had hatched out of it. As they were recovering part of the worm for further examination they felt an attack from an unseen foe, which seemed to drain them. As they fell back, they noticed a strange distortion in front of them that continued to pursue and drain them further. All their attacks proved fruitless and they were forced to retreat with their sample and headed back to the asylum.

Captain Shrove reappeared later that night, apparently under the protection of the Establishment. He carried a Dead Man's Switch that was set to detonate a explosive device attached to the back of his packmate, Jodie Rodgers. With plenty to think about, the Sabbat retired for the morning.

28/10/11
Jacqueline Smith, assisted by Martin Carlihle, hosted an exhibition of her art in Camarilla-held Nottingham. A few Sabbat members went to observe the event with hopes of discovering a lead or information on any Camarilla vampires who may attend. The evening passed without a hitch but none of the hoped-for Toreador made an appearance.

01/10/11
Alexander Durant declared he was standing down as Bishop of Norwich and Bug* took on the role with the support of the Sect. Mike Fitz was honoured as highest among the Ducti by Archbishop Spike. Pack Shade was dissolved, its members joining new packs while their former Ductus Martin Carlihle joined a newly formed pack; the Throne of Smokeless Fire, led by Ductus Vincent Durant and Priest Alexander Durant.

It was decided to assault the Castle, and a strike team was assembled. A new reconnaissance robot built by Tem was parachuted onto the Castle by possessed bat and a reconnaisance team was dispatched.

Unfortunately the assault had to be called off after information was obtained by Jakob and Hektor from the Ghost of City Hall. It turned out Levicitus’ dagger needed more ‘ingredients’; a mage, a fae and a vampire, so the Sect focused its attention on obtaining these and finishing off the ritual. Timothy Blackdale turned up as requested and informed the Sect that he had found evidence around the City of tampering with reality, which matched up with evidence from the mortal populace of strange Shakespearean happenings.

These happenings were consistent with Marauder activity, a breed of powerful and chaotic mage that alter reality around themselves. The disturbances were linked to Apex Cleaners and investigations found the business owner currently residing at the Nelson Hotel. Some Cainites assembled and went to the Nelson Hotel to take him down. They found the hotel completely empty and a man eating alone in a restaurant. After engaging him in combat, he summoned Shakespearean characters to protect him. A difficult combat ensued in which the Establishment’s new recruit Gravedigger unfortunately perished. The mage was eventually taken down and put to death with the dagger.

Meanwhile Vienna a local fairy sent a messenger to inform Levicitus of a rogue Unseelie Fae she had found. Another group of Sabbat traced him to a community centre where he was giving a seminar. After being attacked he animated all the chairs in the room which began to stake the Cainites as he ran amok with his chimerical creations. After a hard-fought battle he was finally put down and killed with the dagger which had been rushed over from the Nelson Hotel.

Later the Bishop and Ducti met with the Anarch representative from the University, who handed over research on breaking the Fae foothold over Cambridge, and agreed to provide a live vampire to give to the dagger; the last ingredient needed before it can be empowered to be used to strike against the Giovanni. He lastly offered to undertake targeted research on behalf of the Sabbat and offered willing Sabbat recruits from within Anarch ranks.

The Sabbat rallied with Archbishop Spike to Rescue Bug*; research had been conducted, allies and contacts had been coerced and tactical planning had begun. It had been discovered that Bug* was being held in Melbolgia; an ancient prison in the Umbra. Melbolgia was said to be a hugely powerful entity that held the prison within its own body, unescapable and older than time itself. It was known that there are many ways to get sent to Melbolgia as a prisoner, but it is nearly impossible to find from the outside. All manner of creatures have been imprisoned within Melbolgia, from all points in history.

Former Head of CoreChem, Dr James, provided some information and a magically potent corrosive substance that would allow the Sabbat to breach the wall of Melbolgia. Former CoreChem employee and self-proclaimed Champion of the Wyrm Kincaid agreed to offer marshal support and a couple of items to assist in rescuing Bug*; a stimulant patch that would restore her to her full strength, and an electronic device that would repel the worst effects of Melbolgia for a short time.

In exchange, the Sabbat formalised their 'mutual friendship' with Kincaid. Martin Carlihle wrote up a contract on magic paper provided by Kincaid; both Kincaid and representatives of the Sabbat signed. Kincaid and his employees are now officially allies of the Sabbat, with loose disclosure agreements and non-aggression pacts.

Local fairy, Vienna, met with the Sabbat and shared a legend about the only person to ever escape Melbolgia. This escapee had unique knowledge of the inner workings of the prison and a deep desire to return and rescue their partner, whom he was forced to leave behind when they escaped. She went on to provide the Sabbat with a way of tracking down this individual, so that they could continue and complete his adventure.

A plan was formulated; the Sabbat would journey through the Umbra to find the escapee, he would be persuaded to act as a guide to Melbolgia in exchange for helping rescue his partner. They would then journey to Melbolgia and breach the wall using the substance provided by Dr James. They would then split up; Bishop Alexander remaining behind to lead a team defending the breach and protecting the Sabbat’s escape. Archbishop Spike would then lead the strike team into the prison to rescue the escapees partner and Bug*.

Finally; a friend of Helga Schneider, a local werewolf ally, arrived to help the Sabbat get into the Umbra and start their quest to rescue Bug*.

Now in the Umbra, the Sabbat followed their trail to the escapee, enlisted his help and co-operation; and he led them to Melbolgia.

On arriving at the prison wall; it was discovered to be some kind of organic construction, apparently held in place by gigantic chains feeding a colossal and ancient lock. Under the guidance of Jason Styles, Sabbat demolitionist, Jakob applied the unknown corrosive substance provided by Dr James to the lock.

The lock resisted briefly then shattered, breaking the chains and releasing a creature of unspeakable dimensions. The wall collapsed into an indescribable mass of pseudopods and unearthly eyes, which formed quickly into a vast tentacle that scoured the area fleetingly before those eyes fell in on themselves to reveal howling voids filled with spiralling teeth and claws.

Letting forth an inexpressible scream it retracted itself from the Umbra and left a hole in the wall where it had been. The strike team surged through the breach into the prison, their guide leading the way and advising them on how to overcome and avoid the many prison defences.

The Bishop’s team remained behind to guard the breach and within minutes they fell under attack by Melbogia’s defenders. The fighting was intense and relentless, but they had to hold until the strike team returned; failure was not an option if any members of the Sabbat were to survive this mission.

The escapee led the rest of the Sabbat further into the prison where they found his partner and other humans, held in some kind of torture and execution chamber. The chamber was well guarded and the Sabbat had to fight against time to rescue prisoners; as the cells began digesting their occupants to create more guards. With the escapee’s partner rescued, it was time to break out Bug*.

The Archbishop split the party further; leaving Kitty Delaney in charge of a small contingent responsible for defending the Sabbat’s retreat, while he pressed on with a small team to attack Bug’s* cell.

Bug’s* cell was very heavily defended by sunlight and guards with powers that targeted the specific weaknesses of vampires. The fighting was brutal and deadly; the Sabbat couldn’t hold up to the damage the guards were dishing out for long so a Blitz tactic was used to storm the cell and escape with Bug* before the attrition could mount too high. With Bug* secured and stim patch applied, the strike team fell back to the 2nd staging point, pursued by the cell guards.

Meanwhile, Kitty and her defence team held the line against mounting assaults from the living prison’s guards. Several waves of monstrous guards attacked, each wave becoming more adaptive to the Cainites powers. The defenders held for as long as they could, repelling the enemies in whatever way they were able, but eventually their position started to get overrun.

When all seemed lost, reinforcements from the strike team arrived and the combat swung back into the Sabbat’s favour. Clearing up the retreat and picking up fallen allies, the Sabbat continued to fall back to the breach. The battle for the breach raged on; waves of guards threw themselves at the entrenched Sabbat, smashing against their defences time and again. The fracas continued to grow; each wave carrying more guards with more vampire targeted powers.

As more and more guards fell upon the defending Sabbat, their lines began to break and repelling their assailant grew harder with each wave. Eventually, Cainites from the strike team began arriving to reinforce the breach; as before the additional support tilted the balance in the Sabbat’s direction, allowing the defenders to hold the breach while Bug* and her rescuers escaped Melbolgia and the whole Sabbat fell back to the extraction point.

26/02/10
After a disastrous use of a magic item; The Misfits had recently lost their Ductus, Bug*. They isolated themselves from the gathering and secretly focused on tracing leads and calling in favours in an attempt to locate where their Ductus had been taken. Developing a few leads from the likes of Dr James, The Ghost of City Hall and Vienna; the Misfits resolved to research these leads further.

Meanwhile; the rest of the Sabbat discussed domain responsibilities, the continued war against the Camarilla, plans for the assault on Norwich Castle and the destruction of the Giovanni. They also conducted various rites of bonding and unity; including fire dances, Vaulderies and a Sermon Of Caine.

Disagreements between the Strays and various packs emerged, this eventually lead to a confrontation between them and the Reavers. The confrontation was resolved with a Game of Instinct; Capture the Ductus. The Reavers proved stronger and defeated the Strays, showing their superior standing and ending the conflict between packs.

29/01/10
The Sabbat assembled to discuss the usual matters and perform their rites. Reports of a firebombing at City Hall aroused their suspicion, and Astral investigations revealed an Astrally Projecting vampire observing the altercation. Upon being challenged; it fled back to its body in an abandoned warehouse, where it began performing an unknown occult ritual of Tremere origin. The Sabbat sent out two groups to investigate and neutralise any threats.

Team One went to City Hall to investigate the attack. They were ambushed by a team of very well trained ghouls armed with crossbows. Several members of the team were staked and the rest took superficial damage. Surrounded and exposed with their attackers shooting from elevated defensible positions, the team retreated.

Team Two, containing Thomas Keeper (local Tremere expert), entered the abandoned warehouse to apprehend the unknown vampire and halt its ritual. Soon after they entered the building, their exit was sealed and they were attacked by a Wooden Golem. This was further compounded by the incorrect use of a powerful artefact the team possessed, rendering various rites and magical defences the team had useless. After defeating the golem with minimal attrition, Team two moved on to engage the unknown vampire.

Upon confronting the vampire, four more vampires appeared from hiding and ambushed the Sabbat strike team. The ambushers appeared to consist of four powerful Tremere elders and a probable Assamite who attacked with a variety of blood magic and disciplines, focusing on the capture of Thomas Keeper. The Sabbat strike team fought hard, delivering a bloody nose to their attackers, but they were slowed considerably by the concentrated blood magic being used against them.

Unfortunately, the Tremere’s committed focus won out. Incapacitating and capturing Mr Keeper; they fled using a powerful teleportation ritual; managing to also steal the powerful artefact.

Reinforcements arrived and the Sabbat cast a wide net, attempting to track the Tremere interlopers before they escaped the city; pulling in every contact and favour. A few days later; the Sabbat tracked the Tremere by a suspiciously obvious trail to the docks at Felixstowe, where they were evidently waiting to be transported to Vienna in three shipping crates. The Sabbat assembled again and mounted a successful rescue of Thomas Keeper; easily overpowering the ghoul defenders (the same ones that attacked City Hall) and retrieved Mr Keeper from one of the shipping crates and whisked him to safety.

However, on pressing the attack to terminate the Tremere and recover the stolen artefact, over-eager Sabbat members triggered a massive explosion that apparently destroyed both the Tremere and the artefact.

18/12/10
The Sabbat assembled at a deserted barn provided by the Strays. There were discussions followed shortly by the Strays and some members of the Establishment going to a dog's home and liberating some occupants. Members of the Sect visited an Ancient Egyptian exhibition at the Sainsbury Centre and discovered a dormant Mummy was included in the exhibits. The local Setite was seen examining it, which was as far as he got, as he was interuppted by the appearance of several obfuscated Cainites. He fled when confronted, was pursued and eventually captured. After interrogation by the Bishop he was ordered to return to his haven.

Meanwhile, members of the Sabbat examined the exhibition more closely and found the Mummy had salt sprinkled around it, which they cleared up. They also discovered a mask that had odd spiritual properties, which they subsequently stole. Another intriguing find was a photograph of a 1920s dig in Egypt which featured the suited man with spectacles and the metal briefcase.

Later that evening a contingent of Cainites went to investigate a body that Dumah of Asylum had discovered buried in an unfilled grave in the Church of Saint Genesius. The body was dressed in a priest's cassock, had part of a 6' stave rammed through his abdomen and had his hands and feet broken at the wrists and ankles.

After a brief appearance by Timothy Blackdale, Dirk finalised his treatment for the serial killer madness and Hektor was cured with it. Clifford Carver the Malkavian puppeteer arrived and led away a group comprised mainly of Malkavians to perform a ritual with them to spread the cure across the Madness Network. Vienna the Fae was called upon to assist in empowering the ritual. For reasons unknown, she requested each participant to write a letter to Father Christmas, in which they promised to do something to spread a bit of Christmas spirit among the mortals.

This torment overcome, the Cainites' ritual was empowered, transporting their minds onto the Madness Network. On arrival they found themselves locked in a basement and crippled by sanity, unable to escape until they recovered their lost madness. They were presented with the Sword of Dirk which they used to track down and defeat the three 'paragons of madness', Puppet Man, Marigold and Pirate Pete; thereby creating a cure and spreading it across the Network. The cure was transferred into the general population, curing the serial killer madness throughout Norfolk.

20/11/10
The Sabbat gathered at De'Ath Baskets (another abandoned warehouse) in the Golden Triangle area of Norwich. It was quickly decided that the Squid problem needed solving and this would be a good opportunity for an initiation for newcomers to the Sect. Mike Fitz arranged a bolthole into the Larkman estate while Martin Carlihle arranged the streets to be cleared. A group of Cainites then left for the estate after Jakob conducted a Vaulderie and a ritual to assist them in the coming fight.

The Cainites encountered a small group of squid abominations out feeding in the wetlands to the back of the estate and a fight ensued. The Sabbat cleared their way through to the squid's Pit where they found a big bloated squid, which was dealt with, but not before various Cainites had lost limbs, consciousness or control of their Beast. After the squid had been dealt with the Cainites returned to De'Ath Baskets.

Later that night the Sabbat were visited by a Malkavian called Clifford Carver who discussed clan business and the madness within the city. The clan decided to investigate the pattern killings through the Malkavian shared mental space.

Timothy Blackdale turned up and suggested it was a good idea to secure Marigold, Pirate Pete and the Puppet Man for research into resolving the situation, the latter of which was acquired by the Reavers shortly afterwards. The Establishment agreed to secure Pirate Pete and Marigold is already in Sabbat custody. It was decided in the meantime that no-one who has had access to any of these three individuals should have contact with any of the others.

Xavier Verne - a Nosferatu - arrived and chatted with the other Nosferatu privately for a while before the Cainites went their separate ways.

23/10/10
The Sabbat gathered at an abandoned warehouse to meet the influx of new Cainites to Norwich and brought each other up to speed on recent local happenings. Two new packs were welcomed; the Establishment; who will be residing in Suffolk and the Strays; occupying Kings Lynn. Mike Fitz settled an honour duel with a disgrunted werewolf by beating it to death with his own severed arm.

The Malkavians heard a scream in their heads which after various divinations led to the investigation of the Maid's Head hotel where a group of people had been ritually murdered in the latest in what the Sabbat have dubbed 'The Tarot Serial Killings', where 5 chefs had been compelled to strangle each other. Cainites discovered various ritual components had been left at the scene along with the word 'Fear' in Italian written on the floor in blood. Back at the warehouse a séance was held to summon the ghost of Timothy Blackdale, who agreed to help investigate the ritual murders.

The Archbishop arrived who congratulated the Cainites on their defeat of Mithras, and the Bishop conducted a mass vaulderie.

06/08/10 - 08/08/10
Mithras (who it was known had some 50 years earlier diablorised the Antediluvian Ventrue) arose. In a vast operation co-ordinated with their allies along with ritual backup from the rest of the Sect across the world, the Cainites of Norwich triumphantly destroyed his armies, his Godly Umbral form, his physical body and finally diablorised him in a mass ritual that brought the entire Sect closer to Caine.

01/05/10
The Cainites met at a farmhouse after 'convincing' the occupants to drive to Edinburgh. The packs exchanged information with each other and the Bishop and it was decided that they needed to find out more about what was going on with the newly-opened Church of Mithras. Hakim led a small group to Riverside Road to check it out. Mike Fitz led a mission to investigate the surge of recent mortal disappearances.

The Sect was visited by a Cainite named Krom who passed on information about a possible weapon that may be useful in the coming fight against Mithras. The Inquistor also made an appearance, passing on information about rituals and preparations that the rest of the Sabbat are making. Helga of the Werewolves suggested attacking Mithras through the Umbra; attacking his Godly presence. The Prince of Cambridge extended an off-the-record invitation to the Sabbat to attend Elysium in Cambridge during August.

20/02/10
The Cainites awoke with an irrestible urge to travel to the Core-Chem facility on Queens Road. After doing so they discovered that many other creatures were similarly afflicted such as Fomori, Black Spiral Dancers and other non-Sabbat local Vampires; all with the same desire to disrupt a Ritual that was taking place on the roof.

The Cainites assaulted the building in two teams, eventually some broke through the defending Werewolves and headed for the roof. When they arrived there they discovered a Gurahl (Were-Bear) Ritualist in the middle of a large ritual and being defended by more Werewolves. The Cainites tried to disrupt the ritual to the best of their ability but it was in vain.

A week later the Ambassador from the Werewolves; Helga Schneider, paid a visit to the Cainites and apologised for the affect that the ritual had upon them, but it remains to be seen whether this has permanently damaged Werewolf-Sect relations.

More information on the rise of the Antediluvian was presented by Doctor James and it is now thought that the event will take place in London, and various theories as to who it will actually be are being investigated by the Sect's scholars. It was discovered that the Ritual completed the previous week was part of a global operation by the Werewolves to bring one of the lost species of Werecreature back from extinction.

16/01/10
Marie received some information regarding Hellesdon Hospital and it was decided that the Sabbat would storm Peter Talisbury's haven and deal with him once and for all. The missing Malkavians Co-Co and Alexander Casio turned up, having apparently been imprisoned by Talisbury. The Cainites discovered a kind of 'altar' to Marie. Marigold appeared and Cainites were compelled to follow him, resulting in the group being split up within the Asylum.

One group found themselves in a bloodied cell with a particularly violent vampire inmate in a headcage accompanied by a handful of goons. Another group met a young vampire inmate who set them a puzzle involving his puppets and toys, while the remaining Cainites discovered and freed an imprisoned Changeling; during which Co-Co attacked the Bishop. On attaining her freedom the Changeling fled taking the defeated Co-Co with her.

The Cainites found each other once again and battled Talisbury and his followers in one of the hospital wards before they eventually emerged victorious.

14/11/09
The Sabbat were visited by the local Black Hand representative; the Grey Cainite, who reaffirmed that the petty squabbles between their organisation and the Sabbat Inquisition were at an end. Levicitus and Zed of the Misfits were returned to the Sect by an envoy from the Werewolves, who then accompanied the Sabbat on a mission to Norwich Station to deal with Director Epiales of Core-Chem.

Epiales emerged from the body of the Black Spiral Dancer he had been using as it died and a further fight broke out as he tried to escape. Mickey found a bottle of wine on the body of the Black Spiral Dancer and Epiales was panicked and tried to get it back. As he was distracted Levicitus activated the Wraith's Shadow, which pulled everyone around into the Shadowlands, where Epiales took the bottle back, resulting in another fight. He was eventually vanquished and Zed grabbed the wine and drank it; destroying the Wraith, but the vampires remained in the Shadowlands.

The Bishop led most of the Sabbat back to where they would be able to re-enter the physical realm. Levicitus, Bug*, Caeveral and Zed decided to take advantage of their position and remained within the Shadowlands a bit longer to investigate the spiritual barrier around the Werewolf Cairn in Thetford Forest. They encountered some immensely powerful entities appearing as three people and two wolves; thought to be Ancestors of the Werewolves. The spokesperson among them offered to pay the Sabbat a visit in order to answer their questions.

The vampires retreated and made their way back to the physical realm by a roundabout method during which they discovered Riverside Road had been cordoned off by the police and heavy security was in place. On returning to the Bishop's house it was discovered that two senior members of the Church of Scientology had been assassinated; one in Norwich and another in Los Angeles.

The Cainites of Norwich need to lie low over the coming months to protect the Silence of the Blood. One piece of good news; the Werewolves destroyed Arthur Stutterchild in a mission that evening, meaning that the Infernalist faction of Core-Chem has been exterminated.

24/10/09
Herr Schmidt of the Inquisition visited the Sabbat bearing a traitor who was promptly diablorised by the assembled Cainites via the Ritual of the Carmine Chalice; recently developed by Dr Richards. Priest Domingo conducted a Sermon of Caine, followed by a Vaulderie. Later a group of Cainites engaged a group of squid-like creatures with a fearsome array of supernatural powers. A further group of Cainites destroyed the haven of Michelle Harbour, Core-Chem's former External Affairs Director, who was diablorised at the end of the evening. Only Arthur Stutterchild; Head of Security, and Director Epiales of Special Relations; known to be a Wraith, remain of the Core-Chem Board of Directors.

31/02/09
Ductus Martin Carlihle of Shade forged a treaty of non-aggression with the Werewolves of Thetford Forest, gaining the Sabbat a martial boon from them. Leviticus of The Misfits spoke with a wraith that had been lurking outside city hall. It had apparently been wronged by three people, one of whom was a necromancer but was apparently not a Giovanni. The Reavers engaged a were-squid which was abducting/eating people on the Larkman Estate and killed it with no losses. A Setite drug dealer who had been previously encountered by Shade made his presence known to the Sabbat and expressed his wishes to join as the Sabbat had failed to inform him of the curfew and tracking of vampires within the city, due to him not being Sabbat. Bishop Alexander Durant dropped his Majesty and had a fist fight with Mickey, Dirk, Edward Blanciano and Paladin Hakim Al Muktar.

12/02/09
There are no longer any soldiers on the streets at night. The curfew has been lifted, there are no road blocks and houses are no longer being searched during the day. There is a heavy police presence, but people aren't being stopped or harassed. Movement is fairly free in the city.

06/01/09
Things got a whole lot worse. The morning after David Baker’s assassination the local militia started aggressively searching properties around in and around Norwich. Over the next couple of days these searches spread to the other major population centres around Norfolk; Norwich, Kings Lynn, Great Yarmouth, Thetford, etc. These measures caused the whole of Norfolk to grind to a halt and proved to be very unpopular with mortals. It proved to be too dangerous to remain in the city so The Archbishop provided safe crash space for the Cainites; an abandoned 2nd World War bunker in North Norfolk.

29/10/08
The streets are filled with soldiers; lots of soldiers. Their numbers are quite staggering considering they’re in sleepy Norfolk, and not Basra. They wear dark blue/black combats with jackboots, body armour and full head covering gas masks. They wield machine guns, shock batons and some appear to even have grenades. During the night hours, they shout one warning then open fire on anyone who doesn’t instantly comply. Unauthorised vehicular traffic is fired upon without warning and it is unclear how authorisation is gained.

29/10/08
A lot of buildings have been blown up or burned down it seems; the streets are getting quite empty at night.

17/03/08
A weird phenomenon has occurred. Quite suddenly dozens of people simultaneously fell down dead, apparently from heart failure. Authorities are working on a link between the people, however are currently baffled by it. The majority of the people ranged from 18 to 45, and were all reported to have near perfect health prior to the incident. The council wishes to convey it's sorrow at this event and wants to ensure the public as much as is humanly possible is being done.

13/03/08
Mousehold heath suffered what locals described as an implosion, revealing a hidden structure underneath. The local authorities are in discussion over who owns the rights to the land and the rights to excavate. For the time being a large cordon is being drawn around the area until decisions have been made.

06/03/08
Norwich hit the national headlines today as a local fruitcake started shooting people with a pump action shotgun in the city centre. Paul Silverock, 24, was shot dead outside the forum by armed police after killing eight people and injuring another sixteen. He refused to back down and left the police no other option.

02/03/08
A hole measuring approx 9ft by 4ft by 10 ft has appeared in the middle of Chapelfield Gardens. No witnesses to the event were found, though some locals agree that nothing of note happened between 3:15 and 3:30 am. Authorities are looking into this, but no one seems overly concerned.

25/01/08
An unidentified building within the airport industrial estate has, to put it simply, exploded. No statements from the owning company about the cause have been issued, though City officials believe it to be a faulty gas main improperly cared for by the owning company.

06/12/07
Police have arrested a large number of elderly men dressed up in Santa outfits after they proceeded en-masse to the Anglican Cathedral. They then proceeded to drop their trousers and wave their genitals obscenely at the church courtyard. The incident was quelled quickly.
